The Hickory House is a private fitting facility built to a single standard: get the player into the right equipment, regardless of who makes it.
The private lit driving range, the climate-managed hitting bay, the layout of the property itself — every piece of it was built to capture clean shot data, day or night, in any weather. No retail floor, no brand quotas, no 60-minute clock on the bay.
Because the facility isn't tied to a single manufacturer, a fitting here starts with your game and works outward — testing across every major shaft and head brand until the data, not a sales target, decides what goes in your bag.

Three integrated environments — a full-length lit range, an enclosed performance bay, and a relaxed clubhouse — let a session run from morning warm-up through detailed launch monitor work into long-iron testing and debrief, without anyone leaving the property.

JOSH SHOOK
Josh runs every session at the Hickory House. A former PGA Tour rep, Josh spent years inside the ropes working with touring professionals on the most demanding equipment changes in the game — the kind of work where a tenth of a degree in launch or a single gram in shaft weight changes a paycheck.
That tour-rep experience is now embedded into every fitting at the Hickory House. Josh isn't reading off a fit chart — he's reading the player. The miss pattern. The transition. The numbers behind the numbers. It's the difference between a fitting that produces a shaft code and a fitting that produces shots you can trust under pressure.
At the Hickory House, Josh personally heads every guest fitting session — from the first warm-up swing through the final build spec. No hand-offs, no junior fitter reading off a chart, no template. Just a tour-experienced eye on your ball flight and the data to back up every call.
